If I could have my way, we’d be having this conversation face to face. We’d likely be curled up on opposite ends of the couch with warm cups of tea in hand. There would definitely be fuzzy socks and a tray of snacks (I’m thinking popcorn) because this is a cozy, happy space.
In my home on the internet my door is always open. Here I’m building a life that feels as good on the inside as it looks on the outside. I’ll be sharing tips, tricks, and personal stories. Plus my favorite lifestyle hacks, date ideas, and budgeting tips. You’ll probably also get some photos of my pets (you’re welcome!) and some mindful living ideas as Jeff and I work together to make our first home, the cutest little midcentury bungalow, all our own!
More than ten years ago, I photographed my first wedding. I was only 16, but that first wedding was the start of about 100 that have come since. Weddings have been the source of countless joys and so many dear friendships in my life. In fact, for years I couldn’t imagine being anything BUT a wedding photographer…until I had my wedding, and marriage brought a new set of dreams and priorities with my husband Jeff. Wedding photography will always be my first love and a part of my life, but I also feel my heart pulled to share more of my life!
Life leading up to our wedding was filled with beautiful anticipation of a life together. Life after the wedding is filled with selfies, business wins, pets, dates, budgeting, new adventures, laughter… and some home improvement projects. It’s the best journey I’ve ever been on. I’m excited you’re here for the trip!
I'm constantly meeting new people and working with lots of other small business owners! I absolutely love that part of being a photographer. I look forward to the dance parties, laughter, and new friends I've made! But when I need to recharge and unwind you can find me alone reading a book or taking a bath filled with LUSH Cosmetics products.
I've been referred to more than once as a professional hype woman. If I'm photographing you I'm telling you how great you are. If one of my friends launches a new product you can bet I've pre-ordered it and will be sharing all about it in my stories! If I find something on the internet I love I can't wait to talk about it.
Since the pandemic it's fair to say that our date nights have looked a little different. And snuggling on the couch eating popcorn is high on that list. You can catch us watching Shark Tank, F.R.I.E.N.D.S., and Grey's Anatomy. I'm glad there's about 20 seasons of each!
My great grandmother was the OG blogger. When I was little my grandmother sent a letter to my family every week. Those were the best mail days. Now I know that writing down my heart makes it so that I can remember all the moments that matter. And when my brain gets too full a journal feels like the muggle version of a pensive.
I LOVE Disney. No, like really LOVE it. We may live in Arizona, but we're currently annual pass holders. Totally worth it! So far I've visited Tokyo Disney, DisneySea, and Disneyland. And most recently my husband and I have spent 2 months in Florida exploring Disneyworld!
